The loganberry was born in the 1940's when Judge J. H. Logan crossbred black berries with red raspberries in Santa Cruz, CA. It made its way to Western NY and Southern Ontario by the early 1950's and quickly became a staple soft drink that's to Ted's and Crystal Beach.
